   People might think I’m extreme, but I would even go so far as to say not to sell bikinis to young girls period. They’re designed not just to cover but to highlight breasts and the groin/buttocks.

   I tend to agree that bathing suits are too revealing. I’m glad they came out with shirts made out of bathing suit material. I bought an extra large one for my girl to cover her bathing suit.

   I bought a two piece bathing suit for her, just recently. The bottom was more like shorts than a bikini. I think some retailers might be getting the message.

   What’s more appalling than the fact that stores are selling those is that there is actually a market for them. My mother would NEVER have even considered buying me a two-piece swimsuit when I was seven years old. In fact, the only reason I own one now is purely for functional reasons — easier for surfing, especially with a 5 mm wetsuit.
