Politicians may gain nothing in this debate, but pro-lifers have nothing to lose.

Part of the abortion issue in Canada is the taboo, and this is a great way to lift it. Maybe now that waiter just might tell you what he really thinks! And maybe now the issues women and children REALLY need addressed, that lead to abortions in the first place, will finally begin to get the time of day.
