Two and a Half Men–I always hated that show for all it represents. Nice to hear that one of the actors on the show felt the same way and now talks openly about it. He challenges folks to stop watching the show, because it “makes light of things that real people struggle with.” Absolutely.

It was nice when I got to hear him speak through the smirks and guffaws of the presenter. So weird, in a society that values being true to yourself, that somehow this doesn’t apply to people of faith. I was also glad to learn that society puts the price of a conscience at somewhere around $350 000 an episode, and getting to hang out with the likes of Charlie Sheen & Ashton Kucher.
That show was awful anyway, politics aside. I tried to watch an episode and just couldn’t, the acting was too terrible, the plot lines too obvious. Painful stuff…
Jono, indeed. Be true to yourself, except when that means betraying us. And our flimsy, fake “values” which apparently include simply making a lot of money. On a different note, 350,000 an episode. Wow. Hope he’s invested well given he isn’t likely to get mainstream parts anymore.
