Here’s hoping this is a big giant misunderstanding:
OTTAWA — Canadian officials contacted the Afghan government Tuesday to express concern about controversial new legislation that would reportedly allow men to rape their wives.
The Canadian government reacted with outrage following reports that the Karzai administration has approved a wide-ranging family law for the country’s Shia minority.
Various reports say the legislation would make it illegal for Shia women to refuse their husbands sex, leave the house without their permission, or have custody of children.

Why am I not surprised? Islam has always battered women, just think of the fact that, if and when a woman is raped, she needs FOUR MALE witnesses! Yeah right!
So SHE is guilty and is stoned to death. If that is not the religion from HELL, what would you call it?
And then to think that former (NDP!) cabinet minister Marion Boyd (a feminist for crying out loud!) advised that Ontario should make room for sharia law, Obviously she does not have the brains to understand how stupid she is.
Folks isn’t it time we did away with the religions?
If you like God, keep him/her or it but get rid of the rest of it.
