Breast cancer foundation Komen halts funding to Planned Parenthood

February 1, 2012 by Andrea Mrozek 4 Comments

This is good news, and might even give our Canadian government some chutzpah when it comes to further cuts to Planned Parenthood here.

Loads of twitter links to PP chart on what PP “really” does. That stupid 3% of services chart. How about a link to this: http://www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/NewsOnline/April-May2011/QandAOBannon.html

That 3% of services = at least 37% of clinic revenues. Let’s tweet that one!

The Komen Foundation’s decision could be prescient, and will become apparent when the definitive link between abortion and breast cancer is proven.

I agree, Brigid. Could be very prescient. If I were a breast cancer foundation, I would not want to be funding a group that provides a service that could very well increase your chances of getting breast cancer.
