An Orlando abortion clinic ran by a controversial, unlicensed physician has outraged locals by offering discount abortions.
The Orlando Woman’s Center, which was shut down in June and had all of its equipment seized, has brazenly thrown its doors back open – and even more boldly, it has begun circulating coupons for bargain-basement abortions on Sundays.
The coupons offer a $50 discount for abortions performed on Sundays.

I’ve seen a lot about this clinic on Facebook lately, all bad. They seem to prey off pregnant women and bend the law (or just plain break it) in order to get their fee. I have a problem with just about any really “specialized” practice. Say, for example, you ran a practice that removed facial moles. Nothing wrong with that, but only so many people have facial moles to begin with, and even fewer want them removed. So how do you get clients in to support your business? Advertise, market, etc. fib and tell the world that facial moles are bad for your health? It’s not exactly healthcare at that point, is it?

Hoo boy. Even barring all the other stuff, it really doesn’t make a good impression when the copy you use to advertise your business has spelling mistakes.
I had missed that Melissa. Yes, good point. Le sigh.
Jennifer – I think Planned Parenthood did something similar a few years ago. You could get Christmas themed gift cards for abortions or something to that effect.
