I don’t actually like Dan Gardner’s columns. It’s not what he says so much as how he says it–with that air of official superiority that tells us all he has achieved the nirvana of perfect wisdom. I have a soft spot for humility. But damn! He makes some great points in this column. Read it.

Agreed as well. I don’t normally enjoy Dan Gardner, but he’s completely right. The government is under-mining its own positions on drugs and prostitution by claiming that killing an unborn child is a personal choice that can’t be impeded by the state, but if you want to pay for sex with someone, or sit around and smoke marijuana that’s going too far.
They’re sucking and blowing at the same time, and they’re going to get burned.
