Deciding what a woman does with her body, long gone?

September 19, 2014 by Andrea Mrozek 25 Comments

…But deciding what a woman must think–now that is totally kosher.

Really ridiculous for Justin Trudeau to tweet this, that the days “when old men get to decide what a woman does with her body are long gone.” Apparently the days of dictating thought are here to stay?

I hope people realize what is happening here, and it has nothing to do with abortion in particular. Freedom of thought is at stake. For this great freedom, my parents left their home and came to this country. Not so someone could tell them what we must believe in order to be “progressive.”

It is all very illiberal, isn’t it?

Besides, when will Justin Trudeau get it through that thick, pretty skull of his that when a woman is pregnant, there are two bodies to be concerned about: mom’s and baby’s? Telling a woman that she ought not to kill shouldn’t be out of bounds in a civilized society.

I guess this shows us why it is important for pro-life women to speak up on this issue. Although the “old men” argument is a canard, it does play well politically. It would be great to see a similar letter from seven female MPs.

Dan. That’s a great idea. Passing it on.

i guess Trudeau is an ‘old man’. He decides what women can and can not have. He’s decided that one of the things a woman has a ‘right’ to is tax payer funded surgical removal of the unborn that is growing inside her. There is lots of things a women might do to her ‘body’ like; tattoos, ‘teeth whitening’, genital mutilation, feet binding, lip stretching and on and on but Trudeau, the ‘old man’, has decided that women don’t have a ‘right’ to these ‘procedures’. What a double speak ninny. He decides which things are ok for women and which are not. What an ‘old man’ – tolerant of everyone who agrees with himself.

I believe the only reason JT has been bellowing about abortion rights is because he has little, if any, policy on issues critical to Canadians. He probably also thinks that he is devastatingly attractive to women, and by further pushing the abortion agenda, he is somehow appealing to his “fan base.”
