Another irony Mr. Warawa raises. When we want children, we love them, honour them, post their ultrasound pictures. When we don’t… you know what we do.

This is the very basis of the email I sent to each and every MP. Two women standing beside each other–both are 3 months pregnant. One pregnancy welcomed; the other is not. The first is expecting a baby–the other has some tissue that can be cut out without consequences. Does that make sense to anyone? These MP’s are so willing to embrace science when it is used to tax or control lives….but in this case the science must be ignored or denied. I don’t know how to take these people seriously.
I only received a few comments back from the MP’s–two were pro-life. Most (the NDP’s) used the rationale that Harper promised he would never open the abortion debate…..they are obsessed with pinning this on the PM even though he has stated regularly that he sides with the NDP on this matter.
This is just very very sad.
