Hey, if it helps:
byA new study out of the Hospital for Sick Children found babies whose mothers experienced morning sickness later tested a few IQ points higher than children of mothers who had nausea-free pregnancies.
“In a very popular way it kind of says that this suffering is for a good cause,” said Dr. Gideon Koren, a top Sick Kids pediatrician and the senior study author. “So it’s very reassuring to know that your severe experience right now is likely to have a good outcome.”
Alison says
Well, I would take this with a grain of salt. But it does work in my favour, as if true, then I must be a genius! As I was very nauseous during both pregnancies 🙂
Hanam says
Hey, I must say, I am not a genius, and I was very nauseous first three months of both my pregnancies and it worked: both of my kids are very smart!
So looking back, all so many years, I can say happily that it was all worth it.
