Or is the front page of the Globe and Mail yesterday ironic? On the one hand, we are ruling out prosecutions for assisted suicide. On the other hand, we have students protesting the multiple suicides in their area. Suicide contagion is well documented. I can’t help but think there will be an effect in society to assisted suicide even when done under the newly legal conditions.
