Oh wow! Thank you very much, Andrea. I had half hoped this could be in hiding until I became a pro at public speaking, but oh well, everyone has to start somewhere.
The wind blew my speech away. I wonder where it ended up…
Thank you for the help and support!

If this was your first speech, then I can’t wait to hear you in the times to come. You are a natural, you have a new lense through which you are viewing pro-life, and you are an excellent writer. Hope to hear lots more from you in the days to come. I’m glad you plucked up your courage and agreed to do this.

Thank you Jennifer – you are not merely eloquent. You are logical, passionate, and a voice for our country’s future.

    You represent hope.
At the March For Life last week in Ottawa, as we passed the requisite pro-abortion advocates, my 4 young children were mystified that anyone could truly have those attitudes and beliefs?! But I told them to pray and be hopeful….that these were the faces of future pro-life advocates!! 🙂 I reminded them that some of the most eloquent voices on the Hill that day were women who had had abortions and men who had been formerly pro-choice — individuals who at one time had bought into the propaganda and lies of our culture and our times. But they had each had their own private epiphany at some point and changed their minds. Like you, they have reversed their opinions and are now wonderful faces of the pro-life movement and voices for the unborn. So I told my children not to judge the pro-choice activists, but to instead be hopeful for the day when these individuals too would become powerful proponents for life!!

You quite eloquently give voice to that hope. Thank you for ‘becoming’ pro-life. Thank you for being vocal about your change in attitude. And thank you for advocating on Life’s behalf.

    Dear Jennifer:

You make us proud, you were awesome and gathered quite a few kudos from my friends who were present. About ten of us stopped at Timmy’s on the way home and the remarks were all positive. We need to get your message out to the women who are ambivalent or sitting in the middle of the road so to speak.
It is so frustrating that when one passerby got excited and began to speak out against life, that all the media immediately turned to her and then afterwards folded up their cameras and took off. Obviously they had their sound bites etc and went home they should have stayed for the full meal.

But time is on our side and as they say the battle has already been won on Calvary and we need to keep forging ahead.

    Thanks again.
