Keep funding the Gosnell movie

April 28, 2014 by Andrea Mrozek 2 Comments

I just thought of another reason to give money to this movie: They are not there yet but it looks like it will be successful. This will drive all the right people crazy.

They need $2.1 million. They are at about 1.4 million. If they don’t get 2.1 million by May 12, they lose all the money. If they do, the movie will be made.

You know what to do! Donate here.

If they lose the funding, where does that money go? as someone who donated, I don’t want my money to go to something else. Surely they don’t refund all those donations. That costs money to do that. This crowd funding thing seems a bit problematic.

Julie, the money is not taken from your card until they get the full amount. So no, your money would not go elsewhere against your wishes. I don’t know why they can’t get whatever they raise even if it is just shy of the full amount; I suppose that makes it a bigger challenge.
