…Barack Obama. The term “pro-abortion” really works for him. Read all about that, here.
The take away is for pro-lifers who like Obama and would vote for him under the pretense that he wants to diminish the number of abortions. He doesn’t, and they should take a long hard look at who they are voting for.
byIn the end, the efforts of Obama’s apologists to depict their man as the true pro-life candidate that Catholics and Evangelicals may and even should vote for, doesn’t even amount to a nice try. Voting for the most extreme pro-abortion political candidate in American history is not the way to save unborn babies.

I am totally at a loss to understand the fear that Obama has of the unborn. What does he possibly have to gain from so aggressive an approach to life? Why would his first act as president be the signing of the FOCA? Shouldn’t he pay more attention to the economy or the war in Iraq, or any number of other more pressing issues? Is he trying to make history by being the most aggressively pro-abortion, anti-life president in the history of the United States? How does he sleep at night?! The founding fathers of the United States must be rolling over in their graves.
Obama’s attitude contrasts strongly with George W. Bush’s comments made when he signed the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003.
“America stands for liberty, for the pursuit of happiness and for the unalienable right of life. And the most basic duty of government is to defend the life of the innocent. Every person, however frail or vulnerable, has a place and a purpose in this world. Every person has a special dignity. This right to life cannot be granted or denied by government, because it does not come from government, it comes from the Creator of life.” – from the speech given as he signed the act on November 5, 2003.

Since we have no law protecting the unborn here in Canada, we are in much the same place as the Americans will be should Obama be elected. Fighting the culture of death will be a full-time job in North America.
