These results aren’t what I’d like to hear. That said, these results are not what extreme advocates for “abortion rights” would like to hear either.
Canadians generally support a woman’s right to have an abortion but many believe the medical procedure should only be allowed in “certain circumstances,” a new poll has found.








I apologize for this shameless plug, but I just thought this recent blogpost of mine was germane to the discussion, since there is a lot of denial about third trimester abortions.

What struck me was that since same sex marriage has become legal, approval of it has increased. Laws affect social perceptions of actions. So the fact that there is no law governing access to abortion, social perception is in support of the status quo. If there were a law, social perception would endorse it within a short period of time. I also note that women are fairly blood thirsty, a majority supporting both killing their children and killing prisoners.
