Speakers:
Dr. Robert Walley, MD FRCSC, Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Memorial University Newfoundland.
Dr. Walley is the founder of MaterCare International, a non-governmental interdisciplinary organization of obstetricians, gynaecologists, midwives, bioethicists, administrators and supporters dedicated to improving maternal health care worldwide with the ethic that all mothers and babies matter.
Dr. Ian Gentles, PhD, FRHS, Professor of History at York University’s Glendon College and at Tyndale University College
Dr. Gentles co-authored the second edition of Women’s Health After Abortion: The Medical and Psychological Evidence. He is currently working with research interns to examine the effect of abortion on maternal death in the context of maternal health and abortion law in several countries overseas.
Genevieve Bonomi, BA Student, and Research Intern at the deVeber Institute
Genevieve is the author of the Resources for Pregnant Women and Parenting Students on University Campuses research study conducted by the deVeber Institute in the summers of 2009 and 2010.
