I don’t think people fully realize that being ‘pro-choice’ is an assault on diversity. I’ve been thinking about this lately, because usually I’m more focused on the specifically anti-woman aspects.
In Canada, diversity is an essential part of the projected and self actualized image of the country. I’ve noticed this more here than in any other country I’ve ever been to or lived in. This positive for community building, and it also attracts immigrants to the country. But abortion is decidedly anti-diversity, not only does it disproportionately target women, but also the differently abled. The people-scape of the world would be markedly grey without its blind tenors.
Thanks for this happy start to the day Brigitte! 🙂
