Stephen Woodworth and Joyce Arthur debate

April 3, 2012 by Andrea Mrozek 1 Comment

The Huffington Post is featuring a debate about whether or not a parliamentary committee should study when a fetus becomes human and has rights.

What’s interesting is the format. They ask you your beliefs up front, then you read and then you vote again at the end. They tally who has changed more people’s minds, as well as showing you the percentages of agreement and disagreement.

I thought it was a neat way to do things. You can check it out, here.

Joyce Arthur does go on and on with lots of comments about ‘Supreme Court’ this and ‘human rights’ that yet fails to mention what the Court did say about the Government’s duty in establishing ‘protection’ for the unborn. This omission is no small omission indeed. Joyce’s comments are merely a smoke screen for someone who champions the ‘right’ to choose abortion to the extent that she sees the strangling of a newborn as perhaps ‘tragic’ but should not be seen as the same thing as killing someone.
