“The abortion distortion”

October 10, 2008 by Andrea Mrozek 2 Comments

Those engaged in fighting abortion will note that the rules change–government procedure, law, and science, when abortion is the topic. It’s called “the abortion distortion.” I just spoke to Rachel MacNair yesterday about this regarding women’s mental health after abortion.

Read about another distortion here:

Joanne Byfield, president of the anti-abortion group Life Canada, said the government caught them off guard by giving the Order to Dr. Morgentaler in Quebec City in the midst of a federal election campaign and on the eve of the Thanksgiving long weekend. “I think the whole thing has been designed to stifle protest,” Ms. Byfield said. “We won’t send anyone (to Quebec) because it’s hard to mobilize people across the country within a day’s notice.” A spokeswoman for Gov. Gen. Michaëlle Jean acknowledged that Order of Canada ceremonies are rarely held outside Rideau Hall in Ottawa, but stressed it wasn’t a precedent.

Hmmm….remember back in June when word got out about the award, right on the eve of another long weekend? Sounds a bit similar to what has happened this week. And since 40 Days for Life is bringing not a little attention to the situation in Ottawa, doesn’t it seem that they are running away from the pro-life voices and the big(ger) noise that could be made outside Rideau Hall today?

Sure it’s no precedent, because they don’t dare award the Order of Canada to one such as Morgentaler and then have to go running out of the city to bestow it!

Dr. (is he really) Henry Babykiller awarded “order of canada”. (caps left off intentionally). Prime Minister Harper issues statement “my party (the government) will not change the system.(that allows approximately 100,000 babies a year in this country to be killed). They will not even talk about it. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE COUNTRY I GREW UP IN???
