I love the free market with the best of them, but I don’t believe body parts or bodies should ever be for sale. That goes for sperm too.

I like to refrain from passing judgment on what other do with their bodies. It might not be what I would do for my own, but I am within no right to go around should-ing all over everyone else’s choices and lives.
While certainly I appreciate your comment, and many people think this way, I have a hunch there are things you would “go around should-ing” about. It’s your decision what those things would be. I happen to believe it’s important to say that human beings are not for sale, nor are their parts.
Now my saying that can’t and won’t stop everyone from doing it, be it legally or black market. But I can and will say it, and again, you have your issues where you will too. (I’ve been “shoulded” up and down the block about the environment, for example, the politically correct cause du jour.)
It’s surprising to me: absolutely everyone has their issue that they’ll speak out about. But then at such moment that someone speaks out on a topic and they personally disagree–woah–that isn’t allowed. I listen every day to an array of views I disagree with, be it politically or personally. When we can listen, digest them, agree or not, and still communicate in a civil fashion that’s called maturity. People used to aspire to it.
