Quite a touching clip on why opposition to legalized assisted suicide and euthanasia is important. I don’t actually think you have to have any faith at all to relate. In matters of life and death, on the precautionary principle alone, we should stand on the side of life because our own understanding is always limited.

It seems it is often said, and perhaps the intent is often negative, that a person has such and such a position, or value or opinion because of their faith. Yet everyone has a system of beliefs, a set of principles, a faith, a religion, a worldview. In considering this, then, the issue becomes not one of faith but one of which faith and what are the logical outcomes of that faith that are manifest vis a vis a particular circumstance. As in the case of euthanasia one’s ‘faith’ determines one’s opinion as to its’ acceptability or not.
